This is because, in this position, one acts as the mediator between the company and its Board of Directors, government, shareholders and regulatory authorities. The job of a company secretary is to ensure that the Board procedures are strictly followed and regularly revised. Company Secretary is the conscience seeker of a company. He or she guides the Chairman and the Directors on how to make the best use of their responsibilities under various laws.

Cost of Examination Form: Rs.30/- Examination Fee: Rs.700/- (Per stage/group)
Qualifying Mark
The qualifying mark is atleast 40% in each subject and 50% in aggregate of all subjects.
Exam Dates
Examinations are held twice a year in June & December.
After CS-Foundation
After qualifying Professional Examination and on successful completion of training a candidate is admitted as an Associate Member of the ICSI and can use the letters ACS after his/her name i.e. Associate Company Secretary and can also practice the career of CS in the corporate sector.
